Disney – What are we missing the most?
Flower and Garden Festival – Very grateful I was able to go on opening day and grab my Orange Bird swag! The family did not go with me and we missed SEVERAL reservations and trips due to this ridiculous pandemic. We have decided to NOT be part of the initial guests that head back to the parks. Honestly… it is going to be a shit show and we are just going to stay home and let everyone else work out the kinks. We will head back when everything is sorted out and running smoothly.聽 I am thinking 2021?
I am NOT missing the touching. My family is the family that will give you a dirty look if you are touching us in line. If we don’t know you…. then don’t touch us and keep your kid in check as well. That isn’t sounding so rude these days. Think about it. How many times have you been in line with people breathing down your neck? You and your family exchanged eyes about it – without saying anything to the stranger because you felt it would be rude? Back to normal – no thank you! How about…back to – back the hell up…. give everyone some space. I am all for the 6 foot rule. You will not get on the ride faster by riding up my family’s ass! So moving forward – let’s give people some space. Pretend everyone has a hula hoop around them… STAY OUT OF MY BUBBLE!!! Not sorry.
Flower and Garden Festival has been around since the 90’s and is a favorite for so many reasons. Living in central Florida allows us to visit several times over the course of a few months and watch the topiaries flourish. Over the years they have added so many outdoor kitchens it is hard to choose just one to nibble from! The Spring time merchandise is always top notch. This year Orange Bird was a favorite which is why I ditched my kids at school and headed to the park on day 1 of the Flower and Garden Festival! Below are some merchandise pictures… you can not buy at the park… so try shopdisney.com. Enjoy.
Flower and Garden Lavender
Street corn… we have been waiting for this since 2015… and we were lucky enough to get it ONE time before closing… thankfully… I figured out how to make it at home!
