I write to you… from the treadmill… and YES it was worth it!
This morning I went in for breakfast with the ladies. It was my cheat meal so I went all in!! I am not a grits person… but holy shit these are amazing! They are called city grits and they have cheese, bacon and scallions on them.. Oh there are tomatoes as well – usually I would opt out of those… but what the hell.. I went for it… so friggin’ delish! I made everyone try them. This is a must NO MATTER WHAT YOU ORDER.
I was on the fence with the 2 specials listed below… but ended up getting the cinnamon roll French toast from the regular menu because well i already knew it was legit. I took pics of the specials because I am going to recreate for some Sunday meals!
My drink line up… usually I go with the spiked coffee (menu below) with the salted rim it is insane. I end up making a spectacle of myself licking the cup because it is so flavorful and rich! However, when I was online last night drooling over the menu I saw the lemon mule, which I had NEVER seen before so I went with that. It was amazing… I paired it with a black coffee and some seltzer water.
Meat… not sure about you… but there must ALWAYS be breakfast meat!! I always go for the bacon and they bake theirs just like me!!!

National Coffee Day called for a SPIKED coffee from Another Broken Egg Cafe. September 29th 2021 – Here is the menu for the specials they have right now as well – sooo good!!! We went with the pumpkin waffles and added fried chicken and hot sauce!!!
