Irish 31 – Review & Menu – Tasty Balls & Cocktails

Salty balls and refreshing libations was a great way to put Tuesday to bed, thanx Irish 31! We ended our 4 mile evening walk by sipping some refreshing cocktails at an outdoor table at the NEW Irish 31 in Oviedo, Florida. It’s all about the balance! The drinks were VERY refreshing and the appetizers were filling. 2 different specialty cocktails were sampled, both were delicious. Mark had a Magners with a splash of cranberry… also refreshing! Food – we loved our “Boxty” appetizer, side salad wasn’t too shabby. We will be back to try several other dishes. If you are a french fry fan… they do have LARGE steak fries. The staff was friendly and attentive. We have included pictures of our food, drinks and the menu. Sometimes we like to view menu’s for our own personal home dinner ideas. Kids menu is also included. Please note – right now they do have all day – everyday specials – they are listed below.

FAVORITE – Boxty – Good lord… these balls were AMAZING!! Looking forward to trying the other 2 kinds they have on the menu.

The ONLY bad part of our experience was the asshole lady who decided to NOT follow the rules and sneak into 2 tables to sit and then proceed to smoke INSIDE the seating area near children… shame on her! Personally, I love how she pulled down her mask to smoke… people are just ridiculous. We made the choice to socially distance ourselves from her.

Magners with a splash of cranberry juice… so refreshing on a hot day after a long walk.

This would have been great with a little bit of cayenne. The bread was warm and super soft. Cucumbers fresh and crisp.

Side Salad was ordered even though a meal was not… it was the perfect little size. The Greek dressing was very good.

BOXTY – If you have never tried a BOXTY before… you are missing out! These balls are so tasty!!! We tried the Shepherd’s Pie Boxty. The filling was perfectly portioned. The gravy was a perfect sauce for these salty balls.
