YES YES YES!!! This cookie is PERFECT!! It is a chocolate cookie made of cake with candy corn… it’s chewy and chocolatey and only has 4 ingredients!
All you need to make these cookies is a box of cake mix, one egg and a stick of melted butter and do not forget the candy corn! We prefer the chocolate cake mix with the candy corn but you can use vanilla if you want or even orange! Try it with vanilla cake and the new NERD candy corns!
You can either put the candy corn on top or chop some up and put inside – be warned this way can be messy… but delish!!!

INGREDIENTS IN CANDY CORN CAKE COOKIES
- BOX OF CAKE MIX
- EGG
- MELTED BUTTER
- CANDY CORN
- Mix the butter and the egg together
- Dump the cake mix in… save a little to coat the candy corn in
- Mix
- Put in the fridge for about 15 minutes
5. Chop the candy corn up
6. dust the candy corn in either the cake mix or a bit of flour
7. Pull the mix from the fridge and fold the candy corn in.
8. Scoop the dough – roll – flatten and press a candy corn in the center.
9. Bake on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
NOTE – The candy corn you rolled into the cookies will sneak out of the cookies and hardens in odd places outside of the cookie. This makes your cookies look less than perfect but taste more than perfect. So you will have to make a choice… do you want them to look perfect of taste perfect. If you want them to look perfect then do not add the chopped up candy corn into the cookie just on top. Also, use the parchment paper for this one – the candy corns peels right off of it opposed to sticking to the pan.
This is what the cookie looks like when some of the candy corn sneaks’ out of the cookie. Looks gross but that hardened candy corn is sooo good!!!
