WOW – these cookies are amazing! Have you ever been to Magic Kingdom? Once you start baking these your nose will be transformed directly to the bakery on main street. No Joke; the only thing better than the smell is the taste. It’s as if you were biting right into a unicorn… they are that magical!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Box “Sprinkle” Cake Mix
- 1 Egg
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1/2 cup Unicorn Sprinkles.. more for topping… get them here
- optional – add whatever floats your boat

- Yellow Cake and Oreo’s (cut up)
- Any Cake and Sprinkles
- Any Cake and left over holiday candies
- Chocolate Cake and Butterscotch Chips
- Chocolate Cake and White Chocolate Chips
- Chocolate Cake and mint chips
- Orange Cake Mix and dried cranberries
- Lemon Cake Mix and White Chocolate Chips
HOW TO MAKE SPRINKLE CAKE COOKIES
INGREDIENTS for Sprinkle Cake Cookies
- Gather your supplies – you can choose any sprinkles – but these are the best – they even have mini marshmallows in them!
2. Mix the melted butter and the egg first – then the cake mix – then the sprinkles. Please do it this way so the hot melted butter does not melt the sprinkles! You could actually throw the sprinkles in with the hot butter – it might make a pretty cool tie dyed cookie!
3. STOP – DO not skip this step. Put the dough in the fridge for 15minutes. The cookies will scoop better – flatten better and bake better. This will help to make the perfect sized cookie.
4. Alright now for the cookie scooping and forming. First, scoop the dough out – this scoop is about a tablespoon. Next, I roll the scoops into firmer balls. Finally, I flatten them with a flat glass. This helps to make certain the cookies all come out about the same size – therefore baking batter as well.
5. SPRINKLE TIME! We did not put enough sprinkles inside the cookie so we needed to add some on top. After the cookie has been flattened (just a tad) then dip it in some sprinkles.
6. POP THEM IN THE OVEN
7. COOL DOWN! These cookies are made of cake mix – they will break a bit easier than a regular cookie so please let them cool for a bit before removing from pan – then let them sit on the rack until COMPLETELY COOLED.
These cookies freeze well. In fact – they are super awesome cold right from the freezer!
Unicorn Cake Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 box Sprinkle Cake Mix
- 1 Egg
- 1 Stick Salted Butter (melted)
- ½ Cup Unicorn Sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350° and line baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a bowl mix egg and butter
- Add in the "sprinkle" cake mix – mix by hand until blended
- Add in Unicorn chips – mix
- STOP – put the dough in the fridge for 15 minutes
- This will make 20 cookies – scoop out – roll – dip in MORE sprinkles – flatten
- Bake for 12 minutes at 350°
- Let cool on pan for about 5minutes before moving to the cooling rack
- Cool completely before putting on plate to serve.
