We all do it we start the day and soon realize we have ZERO dinner plans. Well this Quick Crockpot Chicken Thighs in 5 min might be something you want to try.
Came in from driving the kids and realized I did not plan dinner. I knew I had some chicken thighs in the fridge so I opened the pantry and the soup – onion mix jumped at me. I quickly grabbed the crockpot and turned on the sautĂ©. After searing the chicken on both sides, I dumped in the soup a little water – set it for 4 hours on low and walked away.
The beauty of starting this right away is that it will be done before the kidsa re home. I can clean the crockpot and plate everyone’s dinner in advance, making dinner even easier!

I flipped the chicken over about 1/2 way but if you are not home to do that – that’s fine.











Quick Crockpot Chicken Thighs 5 in min
Ingredients
- 1 package Chicken Thighs
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- sprinkle black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1 package onion mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (you can use mushroom)
- 1/2 can water
- mushroom – optional
Instructions
- heat the skillet to medium and add the extra virgin olive oil in
- dump the chicken in with garlic – pepper and onion mix
- sautĂ© the chicken on both sides – about 4 minutes each side
- turn the crockpot to low
- dump in the chicken soup and a can of water – mix it up
- slow cook for 4 to 5 hours
TIPS
- If you are a family on the go and have the time during the day – finish it early. Make your side dish early – plate it all – wash the crockpot and clean up. This way everyone can heat up their plate as they arrive home for the evening.
