The tree stroll runs… November 5th – December 30th
We love Disney and we love Disney at the holidays. However this year we are not investing in the passes until they lift the restrictions and bring back the FAST PASS. So we settled for Springs and the Tree Stroll to get our Disney fix. It was EXACTLY what we needed and it was FREE. Parking s FREE. The map is FREE. Walking around is FREE. I also challenged myself to buy NOTHING while we were there… just because. I did it!!! It was hard but I did it! However, I did take lots of reminder pics – haha.
We started our day by grabbing the map and walking around looking at the trees. Wine Bar George is where we stopped for lunch, well we had a couple of apps and a glass of wine. The flaming cheese was amazing! We popped in for a drink at the LAVA Lounge on the way out and before we went over to Saratoga to check out the new merchandise at the DVC hotel. The images from Saratoga are towards the bottom, they renovated the lobby and it looks so fresh and clean. Here is a link to a previous Saratoga review… click here
There are several locations to pick up your map. We picked ours up at BASIN. They are free just ask an associate. The first thing you need to do it flip it over and check out the discounts. There are actually a lot of great discounts… so take advantage!
STICKERS – The map has some cute stickers to help you mark off the trees as you come across them. Watch the video below and let me know which tree is your favorite. Side Note – there was NO ticker bell tree so that was disappointing.
TIP – scroll to the top and type in DISNEY it will pull up all our other blog posts on Disney… you can do the same for Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Don’t forget to check out our recipes.
MASKS – If you need one they do have vending machines and yes they take credit cards. You need a mask in the stores. You also need a mask when you enter a restaurant until you sit at the table. Not to worry… once you sit down at the table you can take your mask off.. it’s like MAGIC, sitting at the table it a magical safety zone.

Here is the our video on the trees and the stroll…. continue scrolling for more information as well as images of the trees.
IMAGES FROM DISNEY SPRINGS… little of this and a little of that.
This little Christmas scene is up all year. It is located on the backside of the Christmas store, near Rainforest Café.
These snowman are outside the boathouse. so friggin’ cute!
The trash cans are new, well new to me. Love the new color and in true Disney style they are never placed far apart – which is one of the reason it is always so clean. Universal needs to do this!
CHRISTMAS TREE STROLL – map
The map can be picked u0p at several locations throughout the springs. There will be signs outside the stores that carry them, just ask an associate for the map. We picked up ours at BASIN.
Check out the discounts on this map – these are some great deals.
If you are looking for a new hat check out this store. TIP – check amazon before you buy it here. We have found hats at half the price on amazon – same quality if not better.

Tales of Courage and Kindness Story Collection
The poutine is ALWAYS a great quick grab. They usually have a seasonal one and right now they have a Turkey one. I am sure it will change after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. The specialty drink does change but this one has been here for a while and it is good. TIP – ask for 1/2 the ice so you get more drink… I mean the drink is over priced so you might as well get as much as you can.
The window displays are always on point.
Basin has a great discount on the back of the map and their gift sets are so cute for the holidays.
WINE BAR GEORGE
We have previously had brunch here with the kids and it was very good. They also have a walk up counter. This is one of the better places at Springs. We ordered the Greek cheese app. They bring it to the table and then light it on fire…. soo good!!!!
Not gonna lie… I have a love hate relationship with this place. I love love love the way this place looks. It is my favorite. However, I was not a fan of the menu and I thought the portions were way too big and pricey for what it was. The drinks were good – but honestly even when Disney drinks are bad they are still good.
They have awesome milk shakes!
We ate at Jaleo and it was AMAZING! This is the walk up and it is still closed – nit even sure if it ever opened. We will be watching for the opening.
HOUSE OF BLUES
We ate here years ago and just were not impressed. We do like their walk up drinks an the store. Looks like the brunch might be something good to try.
Several times we have eaten here and it has not been disappointing. It is located across from House of Blues.
This is the bar at Rainforest Café. When we were in the high top tables and the bar were first come and first serve. This area does give you a nice view of Springs. The staff was nice, but stretched thin for the crowd. The bar was dirty and old. Needs a renovation… BAD.
Dragonberry Mule. it was ok
MAPS – There are several locations to pick up a map. There will be a sign like this out front.
Click here for a previous review on Saratoga. They have renovated the lobby – looks amazing. They did remove the pool tables from the side bar. They added some new sandwiches to the pool bar. Also, they have a lot more SWAG for the hotel which tells me they probably have new swag for all the hotels.
