NEW YEAR / BETTER CHOICES
Well like most people the new years resolution is to loose weight and get fit… kinda. I am actually fine where I am mentally, not trying to enter any swim suit competitions or anything. However, for the health of my knees I need to drop some weight. I know better so I need to do better! Creating better habits this year and stop making excuses!
Looking to shed about 34 to 44 pounds. “My time frame is basically just get it the fuck done already!” So this blog will be dedicated to everything I am doing to make it happen along the way. Cheers.
Wednesday’s are for Wellness… follow along here each week.
I will be weighing in BEFORE the weekend. This will allow a buffer. Not a cheat day but a day where I do not have to TRY as hard. Then a week to undo the weekend and meet the goals for that week as well.
WEEK ONE
January 1st – 9th

My goal for the first week was 5.0. I met this goal and raised it .4. So this is my starting point. I am aiming for 3 pounds a week. I should be able to reach my goal by the end of March / be in the zone by March. Which is good because usually it starts to be swimming weather by then.
The weekend – Mark surprised me with a weekend away. At first, I was angry. He knows I am changing habits and to create these new habits while also trying to enjoy a weekend is going to be tough. I decided to adjust and live life but to also keep the goal in mind and to make better choices through the weekend. I knew I would come up out of the weekend heavier but I tried to minimize that as much as possible, I did not want to undo all the week’s work. Coming out of the weekend a pound heavier, so starting this week with needing to loose 4 and not 3 in order to stay on the path. . LET’S GET TO WORK.
Did the best at
- getting up at the ass crack of dawn to get morning routine done
- drinking all the water
- getting my steps in
Do Better
- add in more fitness
- logging food
- sit-ups
- hula hooping
- arms
Motivation
- start looking for a bathing suit
STEPS
This was NOTHING compared to what I use to do. However, I am trying to loose weight and gain some health in my knees. I am in it for the long haul so this was great for me. I had to balance with a lot of rest and forcing myself to sit with ice to prevent swelling. But, I was able to complete 9 days of 10k everyday and not feel like death – so that is a win for me.

WEEK TWO.
LET’S GET TO WORK. My goal was 3 pounds but the weekend had me take a pound back so I have a goal of 4 pounds before Friday morning / Saturday morning. A juice cleanse has been ordered, should arrive wed for start on Thursday or Thursday for start on Friday dare I try a juice cleanse on the weekend?
JUICE CLEANSE
Week 2 Wednesday – I am currently doing a juice cleanse for 3 days… if you want to learn ore and or order one… get information here
WATER
Well today is January 5th – Wellness Wednesday. Drinking more water is a habit I am getting in to. My intentions are always great and I usually do pretty good – but this bottle is helping me make certain I am getting it done daily!!!


TREADMILL
this is the treadmill I have – actually I have 2!!! I use it for walking… it is light and I move it all over the place… love love love love it!!!! GET IT HERE


WEEK THREE
It is Tuesday Morning… and I have not weighed in since week 2 ended. Week 3 for me will end Saturday morning. Wednesday I will have a better idea as to what the rest of the week will look like.
