Rolled Grilled Cheese & Jazzed Up Soup

Ordinary grilled cheese and soup - just jazzed up a bit.


  • bread
  • American Cheese
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic Salt
  • Italian Seasonings
  • Tomato Soup
  • Veggie Soup
  • Fake Crab


  • Slice the cheese in half
  • Cut the crust off the the bread
  • Roll out the bread
  • Lay the cheese out on the bread it will be partially hanging over
  • Tightly squeeze and roll the bread and cheese
  • Put a toothpick in to hold it together
  • Continue rolling them all
  • Heat up butter in the pan, low, and add in the spices, maybe a bit of black pepper as well
  • Heat them low and slow, turning as they brown
  • SLICE - you can either serve them rolled or slice them and dunk in the soup.


  • Take all the crust you cut off and toast them in some butter, garlic salt and Italian seasonings.
  • These are AWESOME in soup.


  • Tomato soup - we just added fake crab and heated it up
  • Veggie soup - the kids split so we make certain to divide the goodies and then the broth.
