CHEESY PASTA - CROCKPOT FREEZER MEAL

Ingredients

FREEZER BAG

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef - you can also use turkey, sausage or a combo
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 1 small Onion - diced
  • 3 tsp Garlic -minced
  • 1 cup Pepper - Orange Roughly Cut
  • 1 cup Pepper - Green Roughly Cut
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 can Tomatos - diced (14.5 size can)
  • 3 tbs Worcestershire Sauce

NOT IN THE BAG

  • 4 cups chicken broth - low sodium
  • 2 cans Tomato sauce - flavored

ADD TO THE COOKED MEAL

  • 1 box Penne Pasta
  • 4 cups Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

FREEZER BAG PREP

  • You will NOT be adding the broth or the sauce to the freezer bag
  • Measure out all ingredients
  • Chop everything up
  • Dump in the bag - raw - BREAK IT UP in the bag

COOKING PREP

  • pull the meal out the night before and thaw it in the fridge
  • PASTA - To save time, you can cook this the night before and set aside in the fridge so you can just dump it in the next day.
  • Dump the Chicken broth and the Tomato sauce into the crockpot
  • Dump the freezer bag full of goodness into the crockpot
  • LOW - cook it low for about 5 hours
  • make cetain the meat is broken up after it cooks or while it is cooking if you are home.
  • When you are about to serve dump the pasta and the cheese in - stire and serve
