Bangers and Mash – easy easy

Sometimes dinner just needs to happen without playing Martha or Julia. I get in these moods where I just do not want to cook. The thought of being in the kitchen for more than 30 minutes pisses me off. It does not mean I don’t love my family or don’t have respect for them. It just means I would rather put my effort elsewhere. Tonight is one of those nights.

Don’t lie… you know we all love easy potatoes . We also love breakfast sausage that is already cooked… add a little jarred gravy and BOOM you are done. Wait… first hide the packages in the trash and throw a napkin over it. The fresh onion, garlic, Italian seasonings and butter will completely throw them off!.

side note – this gravy was ridiculously salty and I would suggest using something else.

INGREDIENTS

SAUSAGE

These sausage are just awesome. Butter, Garlic and Onion in the pan to heat them up – and boom you have dinner sausage. These are fully cooked, so they just need warmed up.

POTATOES

Make these taste a bit more homemade by adding butter, pepper and Italian seasonings.

Vent the plastic and heat up for 3 minutes.

Take out of microwave, take the film off.

Pepper and Italian seasonings, stir them up and back in the microwave for another minute.

Melt butter and Italian seasonings and pour into the mashed potatoes, stir.

Back into the microwave for another minute.

GRAVY

Honestly, we would not use this again. Just open and pour into microwave container, heat and serve.

DINNER TIME

In this house everyone likes something different so the dinner is plated with different veggies. The boy surprisingly had peas opposed to corn.

Bangers & Mash – easy and fast

Sometimes dinner just needs to happen without messing around. This recipe idea is quick and easy. We all loved it.

Ingredients

POTATO

  • 1 package Bob Evans Mashed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 sprinkle black pepper
  • 3 sprinkles Italian seasonings

SAUSAGE

  • 1 package Jimmy Dean Sausage – pe cooked
  • butter
  • onions
  • garlic

GRAVY

  • 1 jar Beef Gravy

VEGGIES

  • 1 can corn
  • 1 can peas

Instructions

  • POTATOES – heat per instructions, towards the end melt the butter and seasonings mix in and heat the last minute.
  • SAUSAGE – melt butter in pan and add in garlic and onions. Dump in the sausage and heat – these are pre-cooked sausage until they are warned.
  • GRAVY and VEGGIES – heat them up
  • Plate and enjoy
