Beefed Up Mac & Cheese

This mac and cheese is hearty, creamy and cheesy, what more could you want!!?!?

Ingredients

  • 1.25 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 5 gloves garlic
  • 1/4 of an onion
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 tsp old bay
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 boxes mac and cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese - shredded
  • 1/2 cup Mexican blended shredded cheese
  • 3 packs powdered cheese from the boxes
  • 12 tbsp butter - melted little extra for the meat
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  • chop up the spinach, onion and garlic
  • sauté in pan with butter, old bay and pepper
  • meat - brown the meat - add it to the garlic, onions and spinach
  • add the beans in, they just need to be warm
  • drain the meat and set aside
  • boil the pasta, drain
  • add the butter, milk and powdered cheese and then the shredded cheeses
  • dish out the meat to a bowl, then the mac and cheese - mix together.
