PEEP Cookies

Cookies, Sprinkles and Peeps - together at last!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar - packed
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar - packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups rainbow sprinkles
  • 1 large pack of peeps

Instructions

  • 350° = preheat the oven
  • butter, white sugar, and brown sugar - cream together and beat until smooth....
  • Eggs - add in and beat one at a time
  • Vanilla - add in and mix
  • Baking Soda - Dissolve in the hot water - add in and mix
  • Flour - add in slowly and mix
  • rainbow sprinkles - gentle add in and mix
  • Drop by large spoonful's onto ungreased pans.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
  • while baking cut the heads off the peeps - this will allow them to stick to the cookies
  • when cookies come out of the oven - leave on pan and immediately place the peep heads in the cookies
