375° - pre heat oven
line baking sheet with parchment paper
cup and smash the guava - feel free to take the chill out by warming in microwave a bit - 20 seconds or so
mix the cream cheese and the guava together
roll out the dough and cut diamond shapes as well as a heart to close each
place the diamond on the parchment paper
add the filling to the center of the diamond... how much will depend on you and how much filling you like. i like a lot / my kids like them filled less.
fold the sides in and then the bottom - close with a heart
brush wit the egg wash
sprinkle with sugar
bake for about 15 minutes - watch for the edges to burn
when done transfer to rack to cool completely
