ARCADE MONSTERS – Mental Health Day @ The Arcade
GAME ON!!! We have one kid in school and once kid learning from home since the start of January. So it has been another adjustment. The teachers and admin are adjusting yet again to face to face and connect students at the same time. You can not always make everyone happy…. see below.

Mental Health Day @ The Arcade
The boy is in 5th and for the most part missing out on his last year of field trips. It isn’t like we don’t take him places, but field trips are important to these kids. Well the school did a great thing and had a field trip come to them. Problem is… my kid was home. Now I love his teachers, and I know there is only so much they can do, so I put my anger in my pocket and took my boy to the arcade for a mental health day. I am not sure what they could have done, maybe I might have let him come in for this? Maybe I would have done something special with him at this time? It just would have been good to be in the know, because he knew and was bummed out.
Sometimes in order to get the high score you need to take break. Dad took part of the day off and so did sister. We hopped into IHOP and then spent the rest of the day at the arcade.
ARCADE MOSTERS – The kids have been begging to go back here since they expanded, but this was during covid and the arcade and covid was not sitting well with us. However, skipping school for the day meant way LESS people in the arcade and a more controlled environment. IT WAS PERFECT!!!! There was sanitizer everywhere and gloves when you walked in the door. We of course wore our masks and had sanitizer as well.
BEFORE ARCADE
I just wanted a quick pic before we left. The setting on my android takes a mini video with the pic… these were just just too funny. They move so much before the click, so happy the camera captured it.
ARRIVING
EXCITED is an understatement.
The Gaming Floor
There are multiple rooms, multiple levels and I don’t even think I can count all the ways to get your game on. Gaming tables, gaming stations, games at the bar, games on the walls and more.
This is the bar. You can order food and drinks and play all sorts of games at the bar.
FOOD AND DRINKS
We did NOT actually eat here but the food looks amazing. I did however get the “SLIMER” and it was DELISH! After being at the Arcade with the kids all day this was earned, hehe/
DANCE GAME
We all forgot how fun this game is. I will NOT be posting the video of me dancing – but it was a BLAST!
MERCH
There is a little store area in the arcade and it has the best retro candy. As well as some adorable gaming shirts. There are a few walls in the Arcade that are actually gaming walls. You just need to check out the controllers and pick a game – have a seat of stand up and play your little heart out. See the image below inside the Merch shop.
BATHROOM
There are a few bathrooms and they are all decked out. The girls bathroom has Rainbow Brite and Hello Kitty, wish I had snagged a pic of that.
PACMAN
What’s your favorite? My favorite is Pac Man.
GAMING FLOOR
VIRTUAL GAMING
There are a few Virtual gaming stations through the arcade. You just have to check out the equipment.
