Pizza Peppers – packed with flavor not carbs! They are packed with flavor and protein without the calories. Sure you can make the whole pepper but 1/2 the pepper will fill you up! Best part is there is very little “cooking”. You can change up the protein but we are loving these pre-cooked chicken sausages for less cooking time.

heat the pan with some garlic and butter, then toss the chopped up chicken sausage in there. Then we put some chopped up spinach in there and let that cook up. Let those flavor marinate together and then toss in some red sauce. Once everything is mixed up and heated up – scoop up and fill your pepper cup. We of course threw some cheese on top of that. Now to melt the cheese go ahead and pop in the microwave / oven / or air fryer. ENJOY!
Pizza Peppers
Ingredients
- green pepper
- spinach
- turkey pepperoni
- chicken sausage – Italian
- marinara
- garlic
- mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- dice up all your veggies and measure out your cheese and clean out the pepper
- heat the skillet up and throw in your minced garlic
- add in the spinach, chicken sausage, pepperoni and saute' for a bit
- heat the oven to BROIL
- marinara – add this in – toss long enough to heat it up, but not cook away
- fill the pepper
- top with cheese and put in oven to broil for just a bit
- ** the filling measures about 3/4 of a cup
- ** marinara – if you like it "saucy" add more just know this changes the calories quickly
